TOPIC – The Consuming Fire.

MEMORISE: For our God is a consuming fire. – Hebrews 12:29

BIBLE READING: Deuteronomy 4:24

24 For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.

THE MESSAGE:

When fire comes into Contact with other things, it can cause them to take on a different form. Fire either purifies or Consumes, depending on the object. For instance, if fire comes into contact with gold, it would purify it and make it shine brighter; however, if it comes into contact with wood, it will burn it to ash. When God comes into the life of a fellow who has just surrendered his or her life to Him, every sorrow, pain, sadness, depression, and curse in the person’s life will be burnt up and consumed forever. The fire of God will also purify the person’s heart for manifestations. However, if God comes in contact with such a person’s enemies, they will be destroyed. Today’s memory verse says that our God is a Consuming Fire. As a child of God, this should bring you joy because it means that your heavenly Father is powerful. With His backing, anyone who dares to uphold you will be in great trouble.

My dear child, you must be careful not to become an enemy of God or speak against any of His children. It is my prayer that the consuming Fire will not destroy you; rather, He will purify you and cause you to shine forth His glory for the world to see, in Jesus’ name.

God is a Consuming Fire; don’t joke with Him.
