TREM Devotional 14 October 2026 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

TOPIC: Develop The Mindset Of Blessing.

“So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.” – Galatians 3:9 (KJV)

THE MESSAGE:

Beloved, who told you that you can only be blessed when circumstances are favourable? If your blessing depended solely on perfect conditions, then why would God be God? Moses was born at a time when conditions were anything but favourable, yet that did not stop the manifestation of his destiny.

Favourable or not, you are blessed. That must become your mindset, blessed when you go out, blessed when you come in; blessed in your storehouses and in all that you set your hands to do.

This blessing is not dependent on race, background, or geography, it depends entirely on God. The same Lord is rich unto all who call upon His name. When you believe in Christ and surrender your life to Him, you carry the blessing with you wherever you go in the world because He remains God everywhere.Explore Faiths

Wherever I go, I move with that consciousness. I declare the favour of God over my life, and God honours it, not because I am a Bishop, but because of “whose” I am. The same grace and favour are available to you.

The real challenge is your mindset. If you do not shift your thinking and embrace the mentality of a blessed person, you may unknowingly deprive yourself of many benefits God has prepared for you.

So how do you change your mindset? How do you cultivate the mindset of the blessed?

It is simple: through the Word of God. Do not survive on the portions of Scripture you hear only on Sundays. Set aside time to study the Word. Don’t just read it; meditate on it and put it into practice. Let the Word become the lamp to your feet and the light to your path.

No matter how busy life gets, prioritize the Word. As you do, you will gradually see your life aligning with what God has spoken concerning you. You will become more and more of what the Word says you are; a blessed person, empowered to prosper, anywhere and everywhere.
