Devotional
Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 30 October 2026 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche
TOPIC: Walking In The Spirit And Walking In Love.
SCRIPTURE: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. – Romans 5:5
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Vibrancy in the Spirit is vibrancy in love.
THE MESSAGE:
Scripture makes it clear that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of love (Romans 5:5). 2Timothy 1:7 says, God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love. Therefore, flowing in the Spirit is flowing in love. Vibrancy in the Spirit is vibrancy in love.
Paul the Apostle was a man who walked in the Spirit. In 1 Corinthians 14:18, he said, I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all. In Ephesians 6:18, he also said, Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit.
He also walked abundantly in love. The evidence of his vibrant spiritual life can be seen in the depth of his love for people. In Romans 9:3 he said, For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren. In other words, he was saying, “Lord, if it were possible, let me be cut off from Christ if that would save my Jewish brothers and sisters. Lord, I wish you could send me to hell if that is what it would cost you to save Israel.” What a heart of love!
Paul prayed the same kind of prayer that Moses prayed in Exodus 32:32. He was willing to sacrifice himself for the salvation of others. Such love is only possible when a person is vibrant in the Spirit.
The Holy Ghost irrigates our hearts with the love of God. That is why any tongues you are speaking that do not make you love people should make you check your spiritual life. If you are happy when people fall, rejoice when others make mistakes, celebrate when people lose their jobs, or expect people to remain in suffering, something is wrong with your spiritual life.
There are people who ask others, “How are you doing?” expecting a negative answer. When the person says, “Everything is going well. God has been faithful,” they become uncomfortable because that is not the answer they are expecting.
This ought not to be so. A heart that is vibrant in the Spirit rejoices when others are lifted, restored, and blessed.
Another factor that facilitates the growth of love (Vibrancy in the Spirit) is the joy of giving or the joy of impact. There is something that keeps the lover loving and the giver giving. It is called the joy of impact, the joy of giving, and the blessedness of release.
Some people you help may become ungrateful. You may assist some people, and they begin to resist you. Yet, there are others whose joy will encourage you never to stop loving and giving.
Beloved, allow the Holy Spirit to keep your heart alive with love, because vibrancy in the Spirit is vibrancy in love. Walk in the Spirit, rejoice in the joy of impacting lives, and let your life become a channel of God’s love to others.
REMEMBER THIS: Vibrancy in the Spirit is vibrancy in love.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
Maintain a vibrant prayer life and fellowship with the Holy Spirit every day.
Refuse every attitude that rejoices over the failure, pain or misfortune of others.
Deliberately impact someone’s life today through love, kindness, and generosity.
PRAYER: Father, thank You for the love You shed abroad in my heart through Your Spirit. Make me vibrant in the Spirit and help me to love, give, and impact lives, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DAILY BIBLE READING: John 4-6
QUOTE: Influence that lacks compassion eventually becomes noise. Power that lacks care becomes dangerous. Authority without love becomes oppressive. Culled from the book, Love – the Foundation of True Greatness by Dr Becky Paul-Enenche.
AMAZING FACT: The human brain releases “feel-good” chemicals like dopamine and oxytocin when a person gives generously or helps someone in need.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION: The Lord Baptize you with the Spirit of love today like never before in Jesus’ Name.
