Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 26 August 2026 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche

TOPIC: Dimensions Of Faith – The Right Utterance.

SCRIPTURE: We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak. – 2 Corinthians 4:13.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The proof of conviction is declaration.

THE MESSAGE:

It has been confirmed that if something is too big for you to speak, it means your conviction is too small to change your life. Faith that is alive is speaking faith. It is audacious and declarative faith. Faith is not mere bragging; it is declaration born out of deep conviction. Whatever fills your heart will naturally overflow through your mouth. If your heart is sufficiently filled with conviction, your mouth cannot remain silent.

When a person says, “I cannot be cut short before my time,” or “I cannot live as a beggar and a borrower,” that is not empty talk. It is a declaration from the abundance of conviction.

Some time ago, we were to hold a programme somewhere, and an officer responsible for approving the venue reportedly said, “Over my dead body before the venue would be released for their use.” When the report got to me, I replied, “He has not said anything bad. The venue is available; he just wants to die first.” Before the set time for the programme, the man died, and the same venue was used for the programme.

Beloved, if something is too big for you to speak, it means your conviction is too small to change your life. The proof of belief is declaration. Once conviction becomes strong enough in your heart, it will escape through your mouth even without your permission.

When my wife was pregnant with our first child, she began to bleed continuously for three days at some point. Both of us are medical doctors, so we understood the implications. She said to me, “It looks like I have miscarried.” I ignored it initially, but when I responded, I said, “Do you want me to tell you that the devil who can push that child out is not yet born?” That was the end of the discussion. The pregnancy continued, and the child was born safely.

There is a difference between confession and declaration. Confession says, “By His stripes I am healed.” Declaration says, “I cannot be sick.” Declaration is revelation turned into conviction and spoken from the position of faith.

Beloved, when your heart is filled with faith, your mouth will speak with boldness. Keep filling your spirit with God’s Word until your declarations become irresistible manifestations. So, if you are afraid to speak, what you need is more stuffing of your spirit with God’s Word until your conviction becomes too strong to remain silent. When a sponge is soaked, little pressure releases water. When your spirit is full of faith, declaration becomes natural.

REMEMBER THIS: The proof of conviction is declaration.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

Fill your heart continually with the Word of God until conviction rises within you.
Refuse negative and fearful speech.
Make bold declarations of faith daily concerning your life and destiny.
PRAYER: Father, fill my heart with Your Word and increase my faith until my mouth speaks only victory, possibility, and truth. Deliver me from fear and negative confession, and help me to stand boldly in faith, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
