THE MESSAGE:

Thanksgiving is not just an expression of appreciation; it has a significant impact on the life of thanksgivers. When you recognize what God has done and give Him thanks, you position yourself to see Him do more in your life. Thanksgiving can bring the manifestation of God, the multiplication of good and the glorification of life.Explore Faiths

What then are the impacts of thanksgiving?

The manifestation of God
Jeremiah 30:19 says: …out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
You want to get God into action? Give Him thanks. You want God to outdo what He did before? Recognise what He has done before and give Him thanks. Thanksgiving acknowledges God’s previous acts and creates an atmosphere for the expectation of His continued intervention.

The multiplication of Good
Our Master Jesus gave thanks for five loaves and two fishes, and after He gave thanks, He distributed them to the people, about five thousand men besides women and children. They all ate and were filled, and there were fragments of 12 basket remaining (John 6:11-12).
Don’t ever allow the devil to make you focus on what is not working. Determine to focus on what is working around your life. If you want good things or resources to multiply, give thanks to God.

Glorification of God’s People
God says: …out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small. (Jeremiah 30:19).
Thanksgiving relates to the removal of shame, the realisation of potential, and the fulfilment of destiny.

Beloved, possess the character of thanksgiving. Do not focus only on what is not working; recognise what God has done and give Him thanks. As you give thanks, trust God for the manifestation of His power, the multiplication of good and the glorification of your life.

REMEMBER THIS: Thanksgiving brings the manifestation of God, the multiplication of good and the glorification of God’s people.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

Give God thanks daily for what He has already done.
Stop focusing only on what is not working; identify the good things around your life and appreciate God for them.
Thank God in expectation of greater manifestations in your life.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for all You have done in my life. Let the power of thanksgiving bring the manifestation of Your Presence, the multiplication of good and the glorification of my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
