TOPIC – Set Apart For God.

MEMORISE: For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth. – Deuteronomy 14:2

BIBLE READING: Romans 12:1-2

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The MESSAGE:

The moment a person gives his or her life to Christ, he or she becomes different from those who don’t know God. Such a person has become consecrated (set apart) to God. Do you know that as a child who is consecrated to God, you have to prioritize God’s will over your desires? If some of your classmates or friends invite you to places that do not glorify God, or ask you to do something illegal that is against God’s word, please say NO to them. Those influences are attacks against your soul that would lead you away from Christ if you succumb to them.

My dear child, being consecrated to God could come at a cost of being ridiculed or excluded from certain worldly pleasures. However, I want you to be encouraged that, aside from the eternal rewards which you will get in heaven, you will be spared from many future regrets here on earth.

CONFESSION:
I am consecrated to God! My life belongs to Him, and I live for Him daily.
